Shahjalal 10 kg gold and passengers detained || AndNewsBD

Dhaka Customs House detained a passenger with 10 kg 300 grams of gold in the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. 

The arrestee's name was Abdus Salam. His house is located in Sreepur of Gazipur district.

Abdus Salam landed on a flight from Singarpur on Monday night at 10:40 pm, when he was caught in gold with the gold held by the customs house of the customs house.

Dhaka Customs House Deputy Commissioner Athlova Chowdhury told Jago news that the warning was made in the news that the smugglers landed at the SQ-446 flight from Singapore at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:40 am.

The passenger was followed from the boarding bridge. After crossing the green channel, he refused to have any taxpayer's goods or asked if he was asked.

After checking through the Archwheel machine, the metal pods are available in their cloth pants. Later, two packets of white scotch wrapped in different areas of the pants were recovered. In the presence of different organizations working at the airport, 103 gold bars are available in packets, each of which weighs 100 grams.

The detainee has written in writing that the real owner of this gold is HM Nuruzzaman alias Jiko, whose house is in Khilkhet in Dhaka. Photographs and photographs of Jiko's photographs are available on the passenger's mobile phone.

He also said that one officer from a company working at the airport will accept these gold and he will hand over gold to Jicro.

It is to be noted that this passenger has traveled five times in Singapore in May and has already handed over the gold to the officer working at the airport. But the passenger could not provide any details about the officer working at the airport.

The approximate market value of the confiscated gold is approximately 5.55 million taka. The customs act -1969 and the Special Powers Act, 1974 are being passed to the Airport Police Station after taking legal action.
